If you enjoy a drink from time to time, keep your cash out of the casino if you plan to do your drinking in a casino. I am serious. Clean out your purse, your money belt, and leave all money, charge cards and checks at home. Pack only the cash you anticipate to spend on beverages, tips and few dollars you expect to squander and keep the rest behind.
Pessimistic? Not by any means. Just realistic. You can have a success after a drunken night out with your compatriots and be blessed sufficiently to catch a marathon toss at a smokin craps game. Hang on to that story considering that it’s as brief as it gets if you continuously consume alcohol and gamble. These activities just do not mix.
Keeping your money out of the casino might be a tiny bit drastic, but defensive actions for dramatic actions is a requirement. If you gamble to succeed, then don’t consume alcohol and play. If you like to toss aside your cash without a worry, then drink all the free beer your stomach are able to handle, but don’t carry charge cards and cheques to throw into the mix of following losses after your bombed head loses everything!
Allow me to take this one step more. do not drink and then jump on the net to bet in your favorite casino either. I enjoy a drink from the coziness of my condominium, but since I’m hooked up through Neteller, Firepay and have plastic credit near by, I can’t consume alcohol and gamble.
Why? Although I do not consume alcohol to excess, once I consume alcohol, it’s definitely enough to cloud my better judgment. I wager, so I do not consume alcohol when wagering. If you are more of a drinker, do not bet at the same time. Both make for a decimating, and expensive, cocktail.
