If you like to have a beer every now and then, leave your cash at home if you are going to do your drinking in a casino. I am serious. Empty your purse, your billfold, and leave all money, credit cards and chequebooks out of the casino. Take whatever cash you expect to spend on refreshments, tips and whatever pocket change you expect to burn and keep the rest behind.
Contemptuous? Absolutely not. Just realistic. You can experience a profit following a boozy night out with your buddies and be blessed sufficiently to hit a long toss at a hot craps table. Keep that account considering that it is as short-lived as it gets if you continuously drink and bet. The two simply do not mix.
Leaving your money back at the hotel might be a tiny bit excessive, but preventative actions for dramatic behavior is a requirement. If you gamble to win, then don’t drink alcohol and play. If you are able to afford to burn your money nary a worry, then consume all the no charge booze you can handle, but don’t pack plastic credit and checks to toss into the mix of chasing squanderings after your inebriated self loses all the cash!
Permit me to take this a single step more. Don’t drink alcohol and then jump on the net to gamble in your best-liked casino either. I love to cocktail from the coziness of my home, but because I am linked up through Neteller, Firepay and keep plastic credit in close proximity, I can not drink and bet.
What’s the reason? Even though I don’t consume alcohol to excess, when I consume alcohol, it’s definitely adequate to blur my common sense. I wager, so I do not drink alcohol when wagering. If you are a drinker, do not gamble when you do. Both make for a ferocious, and costly, cocktail.
